Clocking Data at the Terminal:

Whenever a download of Attendance Data is carried out and completed, the Data is saved for processing on the Software side and deleted from the Clock altogether..

Biometric Data at the Terminal:

Once an Employee leaves the business or is no longer required to Clock, standard practice is to set the Employee to HOLD within the ClockRite Software and UPLOAD Employees to the Terminal. This deletes the User profile and all it’s Data.

User/Employee Data at the PC (Software):

We always recommend following the above step to Employee leavers so that their Data is removed from the Device, it is then up to you how long you want or need to keep their Data for, for HMRC purposes etc.

Once you no longer nee4d the Data at all, you can go ahead and delete their profile in the Software, this will delete all traces of information linked to that profile.

Regular Archiving
